A very stylish antique sapphire ring from the Art Deco era. A square centerpiece centering a oval cut sapphire estimated to weigh approx. 1.9ct. The sapphire shows no indications of heat treatment and displays a deep blue high saturation and high transparency. The sapphire is elongated by four calibre cut natural sapphires at each corners and 12 small diamonds. On each side is one additional diamond topping of the yellow gold shank. Hallmarked for 18K gold and possibly a French eagle. The ring I clearly early 20th century.
