A 1980s/1990s 18kt gold onyx and diamond ring.
Designed as two opposing sides. Light versus dark. Yin/Yang. On the one side we have cut ribbed curved piece of onyx with diamond accents, on the other 36 brilliant cut diamonds with a onyx end finish. We fell for this opulent voluminous ring as it has a very striking graphic look and works well in most every setting.
18k gold, partially rhodium-plated.
Unfamiliar makers mark. Very similar to works signed Mauboussin and Charles Turi.
