Ravishing!

A gorgeous American platinum, 2 ct emerald and diamond Art Déco ring.

The ring is designed as a stylised bow set with a rectangular richly saturated colombian emerald of approx. 2.01 ct (approx. 8.9 x 6.15 x 4.55 mm), framed by two diamond baguettes (each approx. 0.30 ct) and ten brilliant-cut diamonds (total approx. 1.20 ct, G-H, vvs-vs). The emerald is gorgeous high quality stone. Very clean, highly transparent, of even vivid and rich color saturation. The stone show evidence of only minor oil treatment. The ring quite unusual in its design has fun and light expression, the soft outline of the bow play in contrast to the graphical center and linear sharp shape of the emerald and emerald cut diamonds. The shank shows that the maker was highly skilled and devoted painstaking attention to detail in the way it was made. A light elaborate gallery and small diamond accents to the side reveals an almost sculptural quality and a goldsmith master of his trade. Preforming this in solid platinum can only be done after years of experience. A ring made for the very top of the market by the very top of craft.
