From France’s most revered goldsmith.
The highly skilled gold master spun art from gold, creating textured patterns that remain a L’Enfant signature today. A workshop who worked with all the big maisons – Cartier, Van Cleef, Bulgari, Boucheron, Hermes just to mention a few but also made watch bracelets for Rolex, Patek, Vacheron Constantin etc etc. Previously mostly know to a industry insiders but not anymore. Georges Lenfant registered his initials as his maker’s mark in 1909. His workshop was near Paris’s Place Vendôme, already the heart of the world’s luxury jewelry houses. The workshop closed productions after Jacques Lenfant’s (Georges son) death in 1995. The recent few years or so has seen a huge surge in demand for his pieces and L’Enfant has become a name in its own right. “The king of Links” Even if not yet a household name this is only a matter of time. An heirloom piece that still offers great value for money.
