Extra everything! Incredibly charming Louis XV mirror with original mercury-coated mirror glass and carved gilded and silvered décor. Typical Louis XV décor with asymmetrical design and ornaments of shells, flowers and leaves. The centrally placed female might be said to derive from the theatrical baroque ornaments of carved face and masks. Later added naive tin candle holder for 4 candles just adds to the rustic charm.
